One of the critical factors affecting the balance of power, the role and place of states in the international arena, and their ability to respond effectively to threats and defend national interests is the technological level of defence industries, the ability to quickly introduce innovative technologies and provide the security and defence forces with the latest weapons.
The project is focused on the successful implementation of the Government of Ukraine's priorities in the defence sector, the development of a new design of the defence industry and strengthening the core of the Ukrainian defence industry system, which has a growing influence on the transformation and further development of the system, its business model and transformation of Ukroboronprom as an institution.
The project was implemented with representatives of the national security institutions and graduates of the Strategic Leadership Programme in the Security and Defence Sector of Ukraine of Kyiv Mohyla Business School. The involvement of a wide range of stakeholders in the process contributed to introducing an integrated and focused approach to developing the technological and economic potential of the Ukrainian defence industry.
